OUR YARN: UPW

Tigerbob garments are made from some of the finest animal fibers available, sourced through the Responsible Wool Standard-certified mill UPW – a member of the Sustainable Fiber Alliance, Good Cashmere Standard, and International Cooperation Committee of Animal Welfare.

UPW has a strong chain of custody in the production of cashmere fibers and finished yarns, with strict controls at every stage of production to ensure transparency and quality control in the supply chain, from benchmarks for animal welfare and land management practices in sheep farming, to innovative anti-forgery and tracing technologies including DNA markers and blockchain-supported record keeping. MADE-TO-ORDER 3D KNITS: TAILORED INDUSTRY

Tigerbob has partnered with Brooklyn, NY-based Tailored Industry for manufacturing our custom-designed knitwear. Tailored Industry’s 3D knitting and seamless construction create virtually zero waste while maintaining the highest quality knitwear on the global market.

3D knit garments flow across the body unrestricted by seams, allowing for ease of movement and superior draping. The lack of seams also reduces the wear and tear you’d normally expect with a cut-and-sewn garment, that naturally occurs at the weakest points (seams).

Our partnership with Tailored Industry exemplifies our commitment to the "buy local" ethos, with practices that honor environmental responsibility, fair labor, and quality craftsmanship produced in Brooklyn which was once a hub for knitwear manufacturing.

Our made-to-order approach eliminates the need for inventory and storage, producing the exact amount of pieces needed while ensuring exclusivity and rigorous quality control for our low-edition collectible garments. Your garment is made just for you.

PLUSH TOYS: JUQI

Our plush toys are produced in small editions by Juqi, a toy manufacturer located in Zhejiang, China. Juqi was vetted through our sourcing & warehousing partner Pietra Studio, an ecommerce platform that provides software and tools for ecommerce businesses. As part of their services, Pietra Studio personally vets & onboards each manufacturer, requiring strict standards & ongoing evaluations as part of their partnership on the platform.

We are proud of Juqi's high quality production and their ability to support our sustainability commitments with Global Recycled Standard (GRS) recycled polyester fabric & fiber filling for our Tigerbob plush.

TUFTED RUGS: TUFT THE WORLD

Our tufted rugs are produced in very small editions by TTW Editions, a West Philly-based company born out of the innovative Tuft the World. Established in 2018, Tuft The World is known for providing tufters with the high-quality tools, materials, and instruction they need to make their own tufting projects.

TTW Editions uses a cutting-edge CNC robo-tufter to create stunning custom rugs right here in the United States. All rugs produced with us are made from 100% New Zealand Wool batch-dyed in the United States and finished with a polyester/cotton backing cloth.

All pieces are carefully finished by Gossamer in Brooklyn, New York.

SOCKS: SOXNET INC

Our cotton socks are produced in small batches by sock manufacturer Soxnet INC. With factories in both the United States and overseas, Soxnet has over twenty years of experience designing and manufacturing socks for a variety of brands. Our socks are proudly sampled and made with care by Soxnet's factory in La Puente, California.

HANDMADE & ONE OF A KIND

Small edition and one-of-a-kind knitwear hand-loomed or crochet by Gossamer Rozen uses yarn from Colourmart. Colourmart is an online supplier of remainder luxury yarns, mostly from European mills.

Hand-sewn one-of-a-kind pieces are made from Gossamer's extensive collection of antique, vintage, and deadstock fabrics from around the world. Many pieces are fragile - wear and mending are unique to each piece.

When not drawn digitally, hand-drawn illustrations are usually completed in colored pencil and ink on cream, textured paper.
